Individual Learning Programs in Mixed Age Groups

At Montessori Learning Center, our class sizes are limited to 20 students. Children sit in mixed age groups, which allows for individual learning without the pressure of grades or comparison to other students by peers or teachers.

Begin Developing a Love of Language and Literature

We'll help your child with their language development.

They learn 71 phonograms [26 are the alphabet, 55 phonemes by sound]
They learn cursive, which facilitates neurological connections that facilitate reading
Beginning reading begins after the alphabet is learned by sound
25 rules of the English language are taught, establishing patterns in the brain for future ease of reading

Classical literature is read aloud and stressed.

Comprehension taught and tracked through daily assessments
Deductive reasoning skills developed through Socratic style of questioning

Cultural lessons in zoology, geography, botany, history, and science are included.

Math Absorbed Through Hands-On Materials

Addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication using concrete materials into the thousands
Once abstraction begins they are progressed through Saxon Math as rapidly as they can assimilate and internalize math concepts!
